As the 2019 Amazon Black Friday sale started on 22nd November, the Christmas frenzy is already well and truly in full swing!
Technically speaking, Black Friday isn’t actually until today, the 29th, but as one retailer blinks, everyone seems to start their deals early. As usual, there’s often limited stock, so if you spot something you want, grab it quick!

Delonghi Caffe Corso
Ready for the weekend, we’ve got another deal appearing, this time on Delonghi’s Caffe Corso. This is one that’s going popular too – when a bean to cup machine price drops this low they start to fly off the shelves.
In terms of performance, this ESAM2800 model can be considered the Magnifica ESAM4200’s little brother (or sister!). It’s a very similar machine in almost every way, without the subtle refinements of the Magnifica. If you want a bean to cup machine for your kitchen, or as a gift for a friend or loved one but budget is tight – this is definitely worth considering. If you can spend more – see the Eletta next which goes beyond the black coffees to automate the lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites too!
If black coffee is your thing though, and you’re happy to manually froth some milk with a steam wand, this Delonghi ESAM2800 Caffe Corso is a good starter machine.
Delonghi Eletta
An all round coffee machine for every occasion, the Eletta comes in black (the ECAM44.660.B) and white (the ECAM45.760.W) and is one of the best priced machines if you’re looking for something that makes a great job of all your favourite coffees. It’s also been a regular fixture in the Black Friday sales for the last couple of years so it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest if it crops up again!
Please be aware – it was also on a great deal for the 2017 Black Friday – and sold out by around lunchtime. Last year the stock lasted throughout the day, but if you’re wanting this it might be a good idea to move fast!

Melitta Caffeo Barista TS
Melitta are a popular choice with our readers, particularly with their Caffeo Barista TS and Caffeo Solo. The Barista TS is a great choice if you’re happy with the price tag, however the Eletta above is a very good choice which often comes in much cheaper. Delonghi Magnifica
Our top rated and most popular machine for the last few years has also been a common one to feature deep discounts on Black Fridays gone by. The Delonghi ESAM4200 Magnifica is popular thanks to its low price and great quality of coffee. If you want a coffee machine primarily to make black coffee, this is a great choice, if you want something to make milk based coffees like lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites automatically, go for the Eletta above.
